We Have Inspectors who are not afraid of this Virus!

I wanted to find out if you could do an inspection in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

I was glancing through the incoming emails of Swimming Pool Inspection requests today, when I saw this email.

There it was the perfect question. Because of many cities shutting down everything and everybody in the city, an adjuster with a claim in New York, San Francisco and Louisiana becomes concerned if the onsite inspection can be completed.

My mind instantly thought about the old pony express moto. Neither sleet, nor snow, nor wild Indians can stop the mail from getting through. Since the Presidential mandate was issued, “Stay home and study our navel,” we, at Swimming Pool Inspection Services, have completed every inspection request. When we can get the required pictures from the insured, and other vital data, a desk review can eliminate an on-site inspection. Otherwise we sweet talk one or more of our inspectors to venture into the intercity of virus hell.

We could not get three of our inspectors, who lived inside the city of New York, to do a needed inspection. They refused to leave their homes. What did the scheduling department do? While they themselves are working from their home. They called our inspector just outside the quarantined area to drive into the city and do the needed inspection. Bingo!! success.

We had a San Francisco homeowner insisting that she meet with our inspector at the time of the inspection. “No Way Jose” was that going to happen. The inspector arrived did the inspection, called the homeowner and talked on the phone while standing outside the house. That worked and everyone was happy and safe.

The pony express did not survive but Swimming Pool Inspection Services and Landscaping Inspection Services will survive until my grandchildren who are not born yet, can grow up and take over running the company. Being that I am currently 73 years old, this means I will have to continue to run the company until I am 100 years old.

So, “Where there is a will, there is a way” to overcome all obstacles. So as someone once said. “And this too shall pass. “
